Mullingar Visual Arts Gallery

Visual Arts Studio & Gallery based in Mullingar, County Westmeath. The Visual Arts Studio & Gallery opened its doors to the public on April the 29th in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath this year. The proprietor of this private venture is artist and arts worker Lucy Tormey.

Ideally situated in the very heart of Mullingar at no.17 Mount Street , this light and airy space is a perfect venue for the display of high quality contempory visual arts. To date there have been four solo exhibitions by professional artists living and working in Dublin, Westmeath, Meath, Longford, Roscommon, Offaly, Dublin and London!

The venture was launched with an exhibition of paintings entitled ‘Three Colours Love’ by Lucy Tormey in May 2007. Since then Ursula Meehan, Aishling Muller and Monica de Bath have had solo exhibitions in the gallery while Liz Johnson, Gerry Waldron, Carl Doran and Teresa Doyle have been among the group exhibitors. The Visual Arts Studio & Gallery also has a fine selection of prints by artists from the Graphic Print Studio based in Dublin.
