Lucy Tormey Visual Arts
After an exciting and rewarding couple of years of exhibitions and events, The Visual Arts Studio & Gallery has moved from its location in Mount St. Mullingar to the artists home based studio in Belvedere on the Tullamore Rd. in Mullingar.
The gallery which also served as a studio space, was originally launched in May 2007 with an exhibition of paintings entitled ‘Three Colours Love’ by Lucy Tormey. Since then, Ursula Meehan, Aishling Muller, Monica de Bath, Gerry Waldron, Carl Doran and Jackie Dumont have had solo exhibitions in the gallery while notables such as Liz Johnson, Teresa Doyle and the graduates from the GMIT class of '07/'08 have been among the many group exhibitors.
Whilst the space in Mount St. closed in December '08 with a show entitled 'Instinct & Memory' by Lucy Tormey, the work continues to be made at a new purpose built studio in Belvedere, Mullingar.
